The Friends of the Holy Father - Ambassadors to the Holy See
The council of the Friends of the Holy Father has had the privilege of holding small receptions In London to greet new British Ambassadors to the Holy See before undertaking their new mission. The post was upgraded in 1982 with the visit to the UK of Pope St John Paul II;
